Extended Day Enrichment Programs
Welcome to the Charter Oak Unified School District
Child Development and Extended Day Enrichment Program
Charter Oak Unified School District offers a comprehensive range of child development programs. The Learn & Explore Academic Preschool (LEAP) Program is an inclusive preschool that focuses on nurturing each child's comprehensive development. Additionally, the district provides before and after school care for school-age children, as well as a before school care program. The Extended Day Enrichment Program extends care after school hours, offering structured activities, homework support, and nutritious meals. All programs aim to enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through age-appropriate educational and enrichment activities.
Learn & Explore Preschool (LEAP)
Our district proudly offers developmental learning opportunities to young learners located on the Cedargrove Elementary School campus. The LEAP Program is an inclusive preschool experience that nurtures each child’s comprehensive development across physical, social, emotional, creative, linguistic, and cognitive domains. Our curriculum is rich with opportunities for your child to engage in math, language, science, and arts activities while learning crucial life skills such as conflict resolution, sharing responsibilities, and teamwork. We provide a nurturing, safe environment that encourages exploration and experimentation, prioritizing social-emotional growth and kindergarten readiness.
