L.E.A.P. - Learn & Explore Academic Preschool (Age 3-5)
Charter Oak Unified School District’s LEAP program is an inclusive preschool that develops the whole person by nurturing each child’s physical, social, emotional, creative, linguistic, and cognitive growth. While students learn math, language, science, and arts, we also want them to learn skills like resolving conflict, sharing responsibilities, and working collaboratively.
The LEAP Program adheres to the philosophy that children learn best when they are involved as initiators and active participants in their own learning. In the program, children are provided a nurturing environment that is physically, and emotionally safe. Our preschools promote exploration and experimentation for all children while focusing on social-emotional development and kindergarten readiness.
