As my first semester as your Superintendent soon draws to a close, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the vibrant learning environment that defines COUSD. It has been truly inspiring to witness our students' dedication in the classroom, the remarkable achievements of our athletic teams, and the exceptional talent showcased through the visual and performing arts. Your hard work and passion are the heart of our district.

 

When I joined you in January, I made a commitment to listen and learn from our community. Understanding your perspectives on what is working well is crucial as we collectively shape the future of Charter Oak Unified. Your voice is invaluable, and I sincerely encourage each of you to participate in the district-wide survey I recently shared. Your thoughtful input will directly inform our decisions and ensure that we continue to provide the best possible educational experience for every student.

 

As we enter the final month of the school year, let us all strive for a strong finish. Consistent attendance in these last few weeks is vital for reinforcing the learning that has taken place throughout the year and setting the stage for continued success. Let's work together to ensure every student maximizes their potential right up to the very last day.
