Dear Charter Oak Families,
 
With September in full swing, it's exciting to see our schools thriving with enthusiasm, growth, and collaboration. As I visit our campuses, I’m continuously impressed by the incredible energy our students and staff bring to each day.
 
The start of the school year has been marked by a wealth of student activities that showcase the talent, dedication, and creativity across our district. From clubs to spirited athletic events and performances, our students are already making the most of the opportunities available to them, and their achievements are truly something to be proud of. 
 
Our teachers provide engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire students to think critically and explore new ideas. It’s been wonderful to see classrooms filled with curiosity and the pursuit of knowledge. This year, we’re also seeing increased participation in our after-school programs, academic clubs, and leadership opportunities, showing that our students strive to excel in all areas.
 
As we move forward this month, I encourage everyone to continue embracing the positive momentum we’ve built. Let’s celebrate our students' accomplishments, support one another, and work together to ensure that this year is filled with success, growth, and meaningful experiences for all.

Personnel Commission: Notice of Joint Appointee Candidate

John Espinoza has officially expressed his interest in serving as the Joint Member Appointee on the Personnel Commission Board. At the upcoming Personnel Commission meeting on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, Mr. Mark
Cook, Board of Trustee Appointee, and Ms. Sherry Pena, Employees’ Union Appointee, will publicly announce their support for Mr. Espinoza’s appointment as the Joint Commissioner Appointee.

Enroll Now

Charter Oak Online Enrollment allows you to quickly start the process of enrolling a brand new student from any internet device. Information about the student such as emergency contacts, medical and language information will be collected. Upon completion, the school-site is electronically notified that you have completed the online enrollment process, and they will be ready to take your required documents when you stop by their office.

 

PLEASE NOTE: 

This Enrollment process is NOT necessary for any student that was enrolled in a Charter Oak USD school during the 23-24 school year and is moving up to the next grade level. Only NEW students starting Kinder/TK or coming from another district need to complete this process.

If you need assistance with online enrollment, please contact your school site or

make an appointment with the Student Services Office.
